This month, we've been focused on improving Freckle for older students, adding more content for all students to practice, and making small changes that will make Freckle easier for students to use so they can focus on learning. Here's what's new this month!
As students grow older, it’s important for them to develop responsibility for their own growth and achievement. Developmentally, middle school students are ready to track their progress and own more of their academic journey. They can also be tough to engage—adolescents still have limits to their attention spans, and they want to know why tasks are valuable before committing to them.
It's a new year, and we're excited to share some new Freckle updates with you!
This year, we're going to be focusing heavily on improving Freckle for middle school students. You'll start to see new features that give middle school students more agency over their own learning with Freckle and make life easier for middle school teachers!

It's nearly Thanksgiving, and we have a lot to be thankful for here at Freckle. Most of all, we are thankful for the hard work you do to help your students grow every day!
We know how important it is for students to be placed at the correct level when they start math practice. This month, we have been focused on refining the accuracy of students' starting levels so they can quickly start practicing at their own pace.
