Lesson Objectives: Students will be able to recognize and understand emotions in themselves both concretely and abstractly.
Central Question: How do different emotions make me feel? What kinds of emotions do I experience frequently?
Journal Prompt: Out of all the emotions, which emotion do you feel the most frequently? Why do you think that is?
Day 1 Activity: Self-Reflection Survey. 15 minutes.
Students will answer questions about their own emotions to help them practice self-reflection.
Day 2 Activity: Feelings Art. 20 minutes.
Students will represent certain emotions with symbols and artwork.
