It’s Friday. It’s cold outside. Teachers and students alike are excited for the weekend. What else is new? It feels like the average end of the week at a school. That is, until the clock strikes 1, when 320 slices of pizza arrive for students at South Canton Scholars.
As usual, we’re chugging along here at Front Row to continuously improve our product. This week, we have 2 exciting announcements.
On February 11th, Front Row saw its 3 millionth student sign up for the program. In celebration, we created this infographic for you and your students. We wanted to share some of our valued student feedback and help students conceptualize just how big the number 3 million really is. For all you Front Row fans, Piggy Store regulars, and technology-loving tots, this infographic is for you!
Lindsay Helman: “Front Row IBLs have helped my students become critical thinkers in the real world. My students may not remember all the direct instruction lessons; they remember the learning when they can apply math in a way that’s meaningful to them. That’s why I started using IBLs.”
Creating meaningful homework for students can be highly challenging. You want them to practice but, most importantly, you want each student to practice the concepts and skills they find particularly challenging. And of course this is going to look different for each student!
