We hope your school year is off to an amazing start! This month, we've been working on improvements to Freckle that will make it easy for you to differentiate more of your curriculum and have a successful beginning of the school year. Here's what's new for you and your students!
Fiction Stories are here!
Fiction is now part of the Freckle ELA article library! Just like our non-fiction articles, our fiction stories are available in multiple reading levels, and students will automatically read the version that's right for them. Learn all about it in this blog post.
New Social Studies unit
The new Me, My Family, and My Community Social Studies unit for grades K-2 includes articles, videos, and activities to teach younger students about the role they play as a community member.
Spanish audio is available in more math domains
Spanish-speaking students now have audio play-along options for questions in the K-5 math domains. We hope this makes it easier for you to differentiate math practice for your ELL students!
Custom time frames for report cards
School Edition teachers can now choose custom dates for Math and ELA Report Cards. This will be useful for teachers who want to evaluate student progress every 6 weeks, at the end of a unit, or in some time frame other than monthly or weekly.
Creating a new class from a set of transferred students
When you accept shared or transferred students from another teacher, you now have the option to either create a new class or add them to an existing class.
We hope you and your students will enjoy these updates!
